Red Hook Lobster Pound at Urbanspace/Vanderbilt

I have to say, I ate at the Red Hook Lobster pound location at UrbanSpace (next to Grand Central) and the experiences have been fantastic. The staff has followed my special instructions perfectly, and are super friendly. I plan on being a loyal customer thanks to Ricardo & his fellow colleagues. Thanks!!!

Though its not a huge meal, the lobster roll was freshly made and so delicious. The lobster to bread ratio was generous and so buttery. A pleasant lunch splurge that Ill have to do again soon!

Crowded so better to use Grubhub to order ahead and pickup

Terrific place for lobster!

Wide delivery area, but wait is never unreasonably long.

Food has been spectacular two times in a row now for business lunch meetings over the past few months.

The same cost as Red Lobster, if perhaps even slightly LESS expensive, but with MUCH higher quality ingredients.

With the very limited # of options, even in the city, for a decent lobster place, let alone one which offers lunch, "Red Hook" is DEFINITELY worth giving a try. Strongly recommended.

The lobster platter was absolutely amazing and it arrived in about 15 minutes. The roll was a little small but most are, and there was a ton of lobster in it (not stuffed with lettuce to fill up space). Highly recommended.
